New Program Announcement


Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)


Program Code 1926


We are excited to announce a highly sought-after new undergraduate degree at WSU!


Starting from the 2024 intakes, this program is available for international students with competitive advantages in the market:

  1. English entry requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.0 in each subtest or equivalent

  2. Academic entry requirements: ATAR 65 or equivalent

  3. A 4-year full-time degree leading to a teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC)

  4. Affordable tuition fees & international scholarships:



Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) – 4 years

March & July Intake | Campbelltown campus| $29,000 per annum

English requirements: 

  • IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0

  • PTE 58 with no communication skills less than 50

  • TOEFL iBT 82 (writing 21, speaking 18, reading 13 and listening 13)


Academic requirement: ATAR 65 or equivalent


WSU Selling Points:

  2. Graduates will meet Professional Teaching Standards for Graduate Teachers as required by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

  3. Affordable tuition fee with $3,000 or $6,000 multi-year international scholarships (up to 3 years)

  4. Students can apply for 80 credit points(1 year)of advanced standing for a VET Diploma ECEC


  • There is a high demand for Early childhood education and care (ECEC) teachers in Australia and multilingual teachers are valued


  • Graduates are well prepared to be employed in ECEC leadership roles with higher pay rates.


  • Includes professional experience placements, 20-day introduction to ECEC in the second year & 2 placements (35 days each) across the degree, each with a specific focus 


Accreditation:

  • The program is accredited by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Qualify Authority (ACECQA)

  • Graduates will meet Professional Teaching Standards for Graduate Teachers as required by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
